Yvonne Rockwood, MBA, MHA, CPHQ, is a regulatory compliance consultant with 30+ years of extensive healthcare experience with a specialty in serving addiction, mental health, child welfare, and eating disorder treatment centers, preparing for accreditation and/or re-accreditation, licensing, compliance, and more. Her expertise spans diverse healthcare settings, including hospitals, post- acute care, psychiatric hospitals, home care, hospice, palliative care, and skilled nursing and has partnered with providers to earn the accreditation from several different accreditors including The Joint Commission, CARF, COA, ASAM, and EAGLE.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Ms. Rockwood served for five years as the Regional Associate Director for the Eastern Division at The Joint Commission. In this capacity she led strategic development, growth, and retention of Community Behavioral Health Care Services, overseeing day-to-day operations related to accreditation and certification programs, advise and facilitate accreditation or certification pursuits for new and existing clients, provided internal support to various units, including Home Care, Hospital, and Ambulatory, and educated clients on the significance and process of accreditation, distinguishing between certification and accreditation all while exceeding accreditation goals every year.

Ms. Rockwood also held an extensive 11+ career with Kaiser Permanente throughout Southern California and Colorado serving through several roles such as Executive Director of Quality, Population Management, and Medical Imaging Services; Chief Operating Officer; Assistant Medical Center Administrator; and Regional Area Administrator.

Ms. Rockwood holds an Executive Leadership Certification from Harvard Business School and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) as well as the National Association for Health Services Executives (NAHSE). For over 11 years, Ms. Rockwood has been an Adjunct Executive Healthcare Professor teaching master’s level programs at Chapman University, CA., Long Beach State University, CA., Metropolitan State University, CO., and Denver University, CO.
