We are very pleased to welcome a new member to our consulting team! Lee Fraser, RN-BC, MA has joined us directly from the Joint Commission surveyor cadre.

She surveyed in both the Hospital and Behavioral Health accreditation programs and was part of the surveyor group that surveys psychiatric hospitals.

In that capacity, she conducted triennial surveys, special survey events, for-cause surveys, and post survey compliance reviews. She served as team leader for surveys of psychiatric hospitals, BH organizations, and healthcare systems nationwide.

Lee also has extensive leadership experience in clinical, administrative, and training positions in psychiatric services and behavioral healthcare settings including senior leadership in both the private and public sectors.

With experience across the continuum of care, she has served as Director of Psychiatric Services, Director of Nursing and Compliance, and Manager of Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health services in multilevel systems.

Lee has hit the ground running since joining Barrins & Associates and will be busy working with our clients on TJC and CMS compliance and best practices in behavioral healthcare.
