As you know, in August 2022 Barrins & Associates became an affiliate of Healthcare Building Solutions Inc (HBS) and merged operations with Patton Healthcare Consulting.

We’re now extremely pleased to announce that HBS has appointed Julia Finken, BSN, MBA, CPHQ, CSSBB as the Senior VP of Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance effective November 28th. Julia comes to HBS directly from The Joint Commission where she served as the Executive Director of Business Development for the Behavioral Health Care and Psychiatric Hospital Programs. She was also a Joint Commission surveyor for nine years and has 25+ years of healthcare industry experience.

In her Senior VP role, Julia will serve as an integral part of the HBS Executive Management Team.  In addition, she will work alongside consultants on the Patton Healthcare Consulting and Barrins & Associates teams to provide consultation and technical assistance to our clients. With the HBS acquisition of Barrins & Associates, she will also spearhead the Behavioral Health division.

Julia’s exemplary career has been dedicated to working with healthcare providers to improve daily operations, quality of care, financial performance, business and marketing strategies, and other components of a successful health care operation.  Her proficiency and integrity will be a great asset and we’re thrilled to have her join the team.
