Jeannine Loucks, MSN, RN-BC, PMH
Associate
Jeannine Loucks, MSN, RN-BC, PMH is a nurse surveyor with over 40 years of healthcare industry experience. Ms. Loucks is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse and has held many leadership roles. Since 2004, Ms. Loucks has simultaneously served as the Clinical Educator for Behavioral Health Services, the Department Manager of the Emergency Care Center, and the Clinical Coordinator for Behavioral Health Inpatient Services, all at St. Joseph Hospital, Orange.
In these roles, Ms. Loucks is responsible for providing behavioral health education to hospital staff and for planning, directing, and managing the nursing care for psychiatric patients presenting to the emergency department including developing programs, policies and procedures, and standards of care, overseeing 24-hour operation, and accountability for leadership, budget preparation, overall fiscal management, staffing, employee relations, and patient satisfaction. She is also responsible for collaborating with department manager and clinical management of an inpatient psychiatric unit and to assist with clinical program and staff development.
Ms. Loucks served on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association of Orange County for over 15 years and served on the Board of Directors for the American Psychiatric Nurses Association California Chapter for over 12 years. Her innovative nurse lead program has successfully created positive changes for all individuals in Orange County through a reduction in stigma, officer and community safety, and increasing supports for these persons impact by mental illness.
She is a recipient of the Mental Health Association Community Service Award for outstanding contributions to mental health in Orange County, she was named one of Orange County’s 100 Most Influential People, she is a recipient of the Eli-Lilly-Peer Award and was awarded as the Journal of Emergency Nursing Authors of the Year.
